With tears in my eyes as I was looking at these pictures, we shall surely do more to have lasting impacts in the lives of these campers by the grace of God. They did not end up in the IDP (Internally Displaced Camps) camps by choice, no they did not apply for this status. Conditions of life that were beyond them led them there. Some saw their family members slaughtered, burnt to death. How can we help them beyond the occasional clothes and food? Every time I open the pictures, I am emotionally affected by their plights. God help us. the team that went was led by Dr. Adeyinka the BOT chairman of Hearts & Acts of Compassion (HACS), a staff of the FCT government who knew about the operations of the IDP camps, Mr. Mustapha Abdulkareem, volunteered to be a part of our team. We have some of our members and volunteers like Faith Ocheme (Co-ordinator), Yinka (Director of Communications), Amaka Joy Moneke (Board member), others were Segun, John Moneke, Sarah, Terry, Godwin. God will bless them all and reward them abundantly.
